Core Specialization

Multi-Layer High-Speed PCB Layout

We translate high-level schematics into high-density, manufacturing-ready PCB designs. We specialize in controlled impedance stacks, strict signal integrity constraints, and multi-GHz RF routing.

[PCB ROUTING BOUNDARY PARAMETERS]

Max Board Layer Stackup 32 Layers
Minimum Trace/Space 3 mil / 3 mil
Min Laser Microvia Drill 4 mil (0.1 mm)
Maximum Signal Velocity 28+ Gbps SerDes
RF Radio Alignments Wi-Fi 6E, 5G NR, BLE, UWB
CAD Toolsets Altium / Allegro

Signal Integrity (SI)

We simulate transmission lines, calculate exact cross-talk coupling, match differential pair phase skews, and analyze eye diagrams to guarantee clean data transitions.

Power Integrity (PI)

We structure decoupling capacitor placement, model plane resonances, map voltage drops (IR Drop), and optimize copper power plane weights for multi-amp rails.

RF Antenna Design

We lay out microstrip, stripline, and coplanar waveguide feeds. We integrate ceramic chip or custom PCB-trace antennas with impedance matching networks.

Manufacturing Rigor

Strict IPC and DFM Compliance

A beautiful PCB layout is useless if the yield rate at the assembly plant drops. At Velocity, we coordinate with your chosen fabrication houses before drawing a single trace. We design within precise constraints to maximize reliability and yield.

  • IPC-2221 & IPC-2222: Absolute compliance on spacing and trace widths.
  • IPC-7351B: Accurate land pattern footprints to eliminate soldering errors.
  • DFM & DFT: Designing for full pick-and-place access and in-circuit test (ICT) pads.
  • Rigid-Flex Stacks: Designing physical stress reliefs and trace transitions on flex boards.

CAD Software Stack

We generate industry-standard manufacturing packages compatible with all global EMS providers.
